My 94 year old mother was in the care of Waldo Rios and his Knights of Comfort staff or the last 6 months of her life. Simply put, Waldo is an incredible human being. His compassion, knowledge, and expertise in this field cannot be overstated. He is an angel on this earth! He and his entire staff comforted my mother and our family throughout this extremely emotional "end of life" stage with constant communication, professionalism, and empathy. This is my family's second incredibly positive experience with Waldo. My father-in-law was also under Knights of Comfort hospice care when he passed away from a lengthy illness two years ago. I cannot thank him enough for the kind and compassionate care he provided everyone throughout both of our losses.

Waldo Rios and his staff at Knights of Comfort Hospice are caring, compassionate and a professional organization that provided excellent care for my mothers needs from beginning to end. Always available, caring and attentive, I highly recommend Knights of Comfort Hospice for loved ones and family needs. Waldo was our care provider/nurse. We called him on Monday to schedule an appointment and he arrived within hours. He made my mother-in-law, Carol, feel very comfortable about her condition. His care, compassion and kindness were over and above what we expected. Waldo made sure she was comfortable and had everything she needed. Carol passed within 48 hours. Waldo’s role was priceless and we appreciate everything he did for Carol and our family.

My mother was with Knights of Comfort less than a year but long enough to experience their expertise, care and kindness. Waldo Rios was ALWAYS available for her. Countless medication revisions, bed and wheelchair adaptations, and visits to make her ( and the family) feel comfortable. He felt like family and we will miss him. Sara, the chaplain, prayed with mother when she was able to respond and later, held her hand and read scriptures. Jackie Kelley, Social Worker, helped Mom and me by visits and phone calls. I truly have no words for the compassion, support, and excellent care that Knights of Comfort provided my father as he made his final journey home. The team also offered me comfort, education, and anchoring so that I could have the gift and honor of accompanying him. I want more people and communities, particularly communities of color, to know the benefits and beauty of hospice. My father died peacefully, pain-free, and comfortably in his home, which is exactly what he wanted and for that I will forever be grateful. 🙏🏾 Thank you to everyone at Knights of Comfort.

Amazing care. Professional, attentive, genuine. Waldo, Tammy, and the Knights of Comfort team were there for our mom as she faced a dramatic end-of-life turn, and for our family as we learned to navigate the changes. They helped us understand and support mom's journey, always with dignity and gentleness. We highly recommend their services to anyone needing hospice help.

Waldo and Knights of Comfort were wonderful and so caring and comforting to our family. I would not use any hospice but them. I highly recommend Knights of Comfort.

If you are in need of help with a terminally ill loved one. Look no further! We brought my Mother-in-law to live with us She lived in Wisconsin. She was with us for 11 months. Rheta was a few weeks from turning 90. We met Waldo when he came to our home. He was kind, very informative and he had a sense of humor. Humor and kindness goes along way when dealing with a very stressful situation. We could call or text him at any moment, be it day or night. He was very thorough. He checked in and made sure we had everything we needed to take better care of her. Waldo was absolutely wonderful! He was with us the morning she started going down hill quickly. He was back with us at the end of Moms journey. It helped us tremendously. Shunda was a great help as well. She came 2 times a week to bathe Mom. Shunda was really good to her. It was wonderful to have the same people come to our home for Mom. It was less confusing for her. Thank you so much for all that you do. -Eric & Teresa
